Bed Bugs...

The common bedbug, prefers to feed on human blood. They prefer warm houses, especially nearby or inside of beds and bedding or other sleep areas, but can be found almost anywhere. Eradication of bed bugs frequently requires a combination of pesticide and non-pesticide approaches. A thorough vacuuming and washing of items prior to treatment is one of the keys to eliminating them.

Do not throw furniture or mattresses away to try and eliminate the infestation, these items can be treated.

Mattresses and box springs can be covered with bite proof covers.

As bedbugs can live in a variety of different locations, not just on beds, control usually consists of treating all areas of a house or apartment. A bedbug program consists of two services 10-15 days apart to ensure the life cycle is broken. This is usually not a treatment that a homeowner can tackle alone.
