Ant Extermination Treatments
We have different treatments for the various types of ants found in Ontario.
- First, we determine what kind of ant problem you have – pharaoh, carpenter, or winged ants.
- We use Ministry of Environment-approved gel-based insecticide and granular bait, and spray in cracks and crevices.
- Even though the ants may be located in one area or room, we spray throughout the home or business, as we don't want them moving to another location.
- After two weeks, we do another interior spray and an exterior spray to eliminate the infestation.
What Attracts Ants?
Some ants are attracted to food and water sources like your kitchen. Carpenter ants like moist environments like bathrooms and basements.
Store food in airtight containers, clean surfaces regularly and properly dispose of food waste. To control carpenter ants, seal around windows and doors and remove wood piles from near your home.
